It is interesting for me to share this WooCommerce 2.0 review after testing its beta version. Since what I used is still not the final update, this review may have few changes soon. With the beta version alone however, I am already loving the plugin. It may be challenging to learn how to use it at first, but you can easily get through it by just playing around with the plugin.

As you can see, I did not yet touch all the features of this online marketing tool but the overview alone is already great. It is so flexible that you can implement almost everything that you need for an eCommerce site. So instead of hiring an expensive programmer to design your online store, why not just grab this plugin and create your eCommerce site by yourself?

WooCommerce 2.0 is an open source online selling platform that you can just grab and use in your WordPress site. It is absolutely free so you have to take advantage of it. If you need for functions for your online store however, you can also choose from its various extensions. These extensions are not free however so it is for more serious online vendors who wants their site to be more efficient in selling products.

Works With Any WordPress Theme

I have tried installing the plugin to various WordPress themes and it works fine. However, the experience was a lot better when I used it together with a WooThemes WordPress theme. You can choose from any WooThemes theme collections though I recommend you to use a business theme if you are creating an eCommerce site. Moreover, see to it that you use a responsive theme so that you can also accommodate clients using mobile devices.

Implements Various Features

The plugin allows you to add almost everything that you want to show about your product such as prices, descriptions, photos, user reviews, and many others. Moreover, you can choose from many options such as currencies from different countries, product organization, and what not.

Very Easy-To-Use

You don’t have to understand codes and programming to use this plugin. Simply install it, play around with it, and then you’re ready to go. If you need to understand more how the extensions work, you can always contact support.

The Plugin’s Limitations

I personally like the plugin but I’m sure it also has some limitations. For programmers out there who want to design an online store manually, this plugin might not be for them. This tool is catered more for average WordPress users out there (me included).

I can say that WooCommernce 2.0 is one of the best WordPress plugins in 2013 and beyond. It is a free plugin yet it is beautiful and powerful. If you are running an online store and you are not using this plugin, you are missing a great opportunity to sell anything beautifully and easily.
